Ownership Vault — claim-ready proof of what you own
A private, timestamped record of your belongings — log items with photos, receipts and values, export a one-tap claim pack for your insurer, and share a 30-day link with an assessor. Liivra is the evidence vault, never your insurer.

Ownership Vault is a private, claim-ready record of everything in your home. You log what you own — with photos, receipts, values and an optional 360°/3D room capture — and Liivra keeps it timestamped and ready. If you're ever burgled, flooded or fire-hit, you export a complete, tamper-evident proof pack for your insurer in one tap, and share a time-boxed link an assessor can open.
The vault is private to you. Liivra is the evidence vault, never a party to your policy — Liivra does not insure, underwrite, hold, or pay out anything. Your record, your proof, on demand.
What it is
A per-owner inventory of your belongings. Each item can carry:
- Name, room and category — what it is and where it lives.
- Value — roughly what it cost or what it's worth (in rand).
- Proof — photos and receipts attached to the item.
- A condition note and when you acquired it.
- An optional 360°/3D room capture, so the whole space is on record, not just a list.
Nobody sees your inventory unless you choose to share a link. It isn't shown to a landlord, agent, or counterparty.
Add items and attach proof
- Open Ownership Vault and add an item — give it a name, room, category and rough value.
- Attach proof: snap or upload photos of the item and its receipt. This is the part that matters most at claims — attach proof to as many items as you can.
- Optionally add a 360°/3D room capture so an assessor can see the whole room in context. This reuses the same capture that powers 3D Dollhouse.
- Save. Repeat for each room. You can edit or add proof to an item at any time.
Tip: high-value items (electronics, appliances, jewellery) and anything with a serial number benefit most from a photo of the item and its receipt.
How the timestamped proof works
The moment you attach a photo or receipt to an item, Liivra records a capture time server-side — you can't back-date it. That gives each piece of proof a dated record an insurer can rely on. A date-stamped photo is the single most effective piece of evidence at claims, so every proof photo carries a "Captured <date>" caption drawn from that server timestamp.
You never set this time yourself — Liivra stamps it when the proof lands, which is exactly what makes it credible.
Export a claim pack for your insurer
When you need to claim, export a claim pack in one tap:
- Open Ownership Vault and choose Export for insurer.
- By default the pack covers your whole inventory. If you only need one home, filter it to a specific listing or lease.
- Liivra assembles a single, tamper-evident document: every item (name, category, room, value, condition and acquired date), its dated proof photos, any 3D capture link, an aggregate total value, an item count, and the date the pack was generated.
- Hand the pack to your insurer as your proof of ownership and loss.
There's no scrambling for receipts and no lost paperwork — the pack is built from the record you've been keeping all along.
Share a link with an insurer — and revoke it
Your insurer or their assessor doesn't have a Liivra account, so you can share a time-boxed, read-only link instead:
- Choose Share with my insurer and (optionally) give the share a label, like "Santam claim #123".
- Liivra mints a secure link. Copy it and send it to your assessor.
- The link opens without a Liivra account, shows only the items you shared, and expires after 30 days by default.
- Revoke it any time from your list of active shares — the link stops working immediately.
Shared links carry only the scope you chose — never the rest of your vault. The shared page states clearly that it was shared by the homeowner and that Liivra does not insure or hold anything.
Record-only — Liivra never underwrites
Ownership Vault is evidence, not insurance. Liivra:
- is the vault that stores and timestamps your proof and assembles it on demand;
- is not your insurer, underwriter, broker, or custodian, and is never a party to your policy.
Your policy, cover, excess and payout are entirely between you and your insurer. Liivra's job is to make sure that when you claim, the proof is already there.
