The size of the erf is 793 m2, erf #76, Fraserburg. The size of the house is approximately 160 m2 and there is a garden store room of another approximately 20 m2. The house is a beautiful example of simple and authentic Karoo Victorian architecture from 1896 and the renovation kept the authentic structures and features intact. A lot of time, money and care has been invested into the garden with extensive planting of plants that manage our climate. There is 1 borehole in the driveway which is 50 metres deep. There is an automated Orbit irrigation system with a 2 way switch to the borehole or to municipal water as a back up, which is seldom used. There are 2 rain water tanks, 1 of 2500 L and 1 of 1000 L. The whole erf has beautiful dry packed antique stone walls with reed panels to raise the height and some barbed wire for security.
