Although the house is compact, all bedrooms and the living area have folding / stacking doors that open onto wooden decks at the front and back of the house. This creates a seamless inside / outside living experience and a feeling of spaciousness. Lake Michelle Estate surrounds a natural lake where residents live close to nature. If you are not exploring Cape Town you can wander at your leisure through the estate by following numerous paths and wooden walkways. More than 140 bird species have been observed. The estate has 24/7 access control, and an excellent security track record to the extent that crime is virtually unheard of. Here you can live and sleep knowing that you will be safe. There are no street lights and at night it is super quiet, with only the sounds of crickets and frogs to keep you company. Noordhoek is surrounded by the Table Mountain National Park with hundreds of kilometers of tracks and pathways where you can hike or trail run at your leisure. It is amazing and enjoy truly world class scenery! And if you are a surfer, the beaches around Noordhoek offer excellent surfing.
